"Happy Birthday Sister!"

You know I was blessed with 3 beautiful sisters and it is true sisters are a treasure that we take for granted if we are not careful, so before I go on if you have a sister today take the time to say a prayer for them and thank God for the precious blessing he has given you. Today is my middle sisters birthday. I wish you could meet all 3 of my sisters and soon I will introduce you to my big sister and my beautiful sister that went to be with the Lord, but today is Tami's day my middle sister. She is an amazing person. She has allowed the Lord to mold her into an amazing sister, friend, mother, wife and Nana. She is amazingly busy with a beautiful 1-year-old grand baby. Tami lives in Palmer Alaska. She is always there when I need a helping hand and boy have I needed a lot of those lately. She has 2 beautiful daughters Sarah and Sandi and a wonderful husband Scott and Kylie who is her beautiful 1-year-old granddaughter. I don't know if she will get a chance to see this or not but,

HAPPY BIRTHDAY SIS

Thanks for everything

I love ya ,

Lil sis.

MEMORIES

Well it is that time of year again where the hustle and bustle could take the wonder out of the holidays. I know for myself I have to remind myself to make it simple and slow or I lose it. With having nothing but a house full of boys (which I would not trade) it is my job to be the girly one and try to keep the spirit going no matter what. I set down today for a small amount of time and looked through some old pictures, that was an amazing way of reminding me how blessed I really am. So to my family and friends thank you for being a part of my life and as usual I know this does not flow. I just wanted to remind everyone to take the season as slow as you can remembering the things that God has given us as gifts to cherish. Here are a couple of memories I came across.

HAPPY THANKSGIVING!!

Just wanted to wish all a happy and blessed Thanksgiving. There are so many things I am thankful for. Our God and the cross, my family, friends, another day to share with the ones I love and sooooo much more. I only wish my words were poetic like some, but just in small I hope everyone has a safe, blessed and happy Thanksgiving.

9th Chair in ALL REGION!!

Cory is in the Honor Band at Stone Middle School. This is a band mostly made up of really good 8th graders and a few 7th graders and Cory has the honor of being chosen to be in it this year. They have been practicing for about the past 2 months for All Regions. I think there were around 200 to 250 kids going to be at All Regions. It was this past weekend and Cory qualified to be in the top band placing him in the 9th chair position. That use to make no sense to me at all, but it really means what it says. When he is on stage playing in Mt. Pleasant TX he will be sitting in the 9th chair. There is probably 35 chairs. Thanks for letting me brag a little.

It has been sooo long!

I thought maybe it had been so long that I have posted anything due to the fact that my life is boring, but I guess I have been really busy with not much time to post.

Since I posted last Kirk has turned 40. We had a small family party for him with just me and the boys. We were able to get him a recliner. It was really funny. When he came into the room where it was he walked right beside it. He smiled and laughed about all the black balloons and the banner, but never said anything about the chair. When I asked if he was going to try it out he finally saw the chair. It is a RECLINER, they are not so small you can't see them. My dearest friend told me to tell him that the first thing that goes is the eyesight. I am sooo glad I am not there yet. ha ha.
